North Yorkshire Moors Railway Sees Cream teas, ice-cream and chilled Pimm’s

Cream teas, ice-cream and chilled Pimm’s – three great British summer staples have been given a steam makeover for August by the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) where they are being served in the art deco surroundings of the Gresley Buffet carriage.

“Summer is all about making the most of your days out and packing in as many experiences as you can, just like the heydays of steam travel when enjoying the journey was as important as getting to the destination.  With our summer specials you can soak up the authentic steam train atmosphere while watching the beautiful North York Moors go past, with the added bonus of a chilled glass of prosecco or a cream tea – it’s a classic British summer cocktail for your memory,” comments marketing manager, Danielle Ramsey.
